If you do inappropriate things on Kerpoof or abuse the services we provide in any way, we may terminate your account(s), block your access to Kerpoof, and may also take other actions. Under the Kerpoof Terms of Use, your Kerpoof account(s) and your access to Kerpoof may be terminated or blocked by us for any reason. This page broadly describes activities that are prohibitted on Kerpoof. If you break these rules, your access to Kerpoof will be blocked.
By using Kerpoof, you agree not to do things
- to take away from the value of Kerpoof,
- to detract from anyone's use or enjoyment of Kerpoof, or
- to use for your own gain any of the things created by other guests of Kerpoof or by the developers of Kerpoof.
You agree to follow these rules:
1. You Must Respect Others.
The people who visit Kerpoof are of all ages and backgrounds. As a guest of Kerpoof, you agree to be respectful to everyone in the Kerpoof community. You agree not to create on Kerpoof or post to Kerpoof any words, images or links containing or relating to:
- Anything derogatory, insulting, or threatening to anyone
- Sexuality, express or implied
- Religion, current politics, current political issues, or sensitive social opinions
The protection of your privacy and the privacy and rights of others is very important and you agree not to create on Kerpoof or post to Kerpoof any words, images or links containing:
- Any full name, phone number, postal address, or other offline contact information
- Any email address, instant messenger name, or other online contact information
- Anything that someone else created, unless you have their permission
2. You Cannot Use Kerpoof To Make Money.
You cannot sell or trade anything (except as may be allowed within Kerpoof services) that was created or derived from or on Kerpoof (the Site or the Materials as defined below).
3. Your Use Of Kerpoof Artwork Is Restricted.
You can display things you create using Kerpoof artwork and otherwise use such creations for limited, personal (or educational or charitable), and noncommercial purposes as long as you cleary attribute the artwork copyright and source to www.kerpoof.com. If you display it on a webpage, the webpage cannot sell ads or otherwise earn money for you or for anyone else. You may include up to five unmodified screenshots of Kerpoof that include copyrighted Kerpoof artwork in any of the following even if they are in a commercial context or on a webpage that earns money: (i) A review of www.kerpoof.com in a weblog ("blog") or other online resource, (ii) A review of www.kerpoof.com in any printed periodical or other publication, (iii) A newspaper or magazine article or blog entry about Kerpoof, or (iv) A textbook or other educational resource that describes the use of www.kerpoof.com.
If something you create using Kerpoof is entirely original (e.g., an original drawing that does not include Kerpoof artwork), you may reproduce and use it for presonal (or educational or charitable) and noncommercial purposes, so long as you include an acknowledgement that it was created at www.kerpoof.com.
4. You May Link to Kerpoof.
You may freely link to Kerpoof or to any individual Kerpoof activity from any page you create on your own website or another site, so long as you clearly credit Kerpoof, and so long as you do not: (a) embed any Kerpoof content into an html frame or i-frame without clear attribution, or (b) do any other thing to give the appearance that the Kerpoof content is your content or the content of any other site, or (c) in any way breach the Kerpoof Terms of Use.
5. No Hacking.
You agree to in no way to try to "hack" the Kerpoof Site or software, or to use the Site or software in anyway other than as contemplated and intended by Kerpoof. You agree not to to examine or modify any internal memory state of any Kerpoof client applications that may execute on your computer.
You agree not to access or to attempt to access any other person's account on Kerpoof without their permission. You agree not to change or to attempt to change any of your Kerpoof account data except as permitted and provided for within the Kerpoof services. More generally, you agree not to modify any of the Materials except as permitted and provided for within the Kerpoof services and Terms of Use.
You agree to use only standard web browsers, such as Microsoft's Internet Explorer, Mozilla's Firefox, or Apple's Safari, together with Adobe's Flash Player (non-debug version), to upload or download any Materials to or from the Site. You agree not to use any automated tools to upload or download any data from the Site.
Definitions
As used in these Rules, "Site" means all www.kerpoof.com pages and all related servers and software.
"Materials" means all Site software, designs, text, images, photographs, illustrations, audio clips, video clips, artwork, animations, graphic material, or other copyrightable elements, and the selection and arrangements thereof, and trademarks, service marks and trade names.
